Well that new car shine was starting to dull after 2wks of driving so this weekend I gave my Volt's its first wash. It was the perfect opportunity to test out my new pressure washer and 16hp shop vac from Lowes, both of which performed exceptionally well. I found the polished rims were some of the easiest to clean of any car I've owned with very little brake dust due to driving in L mode and using regen to slow down as much as possible.

Now I just need to find or invent a special super wax that reduces drag and extends EV range by another 1-2 miles LOL!

They are clean wheels. No brake dust (if there is, I have not seen it). With a weekly bath, mine have stayed pristine.

The only issue I have had is the plastic seal on the black area forward the small driver wing window. It has a sharp point that stick out and snags my cloth. I have to remember to move from front to back instead of vice versa, or risk a snag. I', thinking some silicone caulk might help keep it snug.
