I'd like to put a device in my glove box that would output audio. I was hoping that I'd just be able to relocate the aux jack from the center console to the glove box and leave the USB ports behind, but it appears that the part for the Aux/USB port is more than just the connector itself (GM part #13509942).

I did some poking around with a multimeter for continuity, but I was only able to determine the pin that was ground. The back of the part has a 6-pin connector along with a Mini-USB plug. The Mini-USB plug doesn't actually appear to be directly connected to the USB ports or act as a hub for them -- but it's possible that it's switched and controlled by one of the other pins?
