I checked the manual and didn’t see any option for this but does anyone know of a way to adjust how soon the automatic headlights come on? I’d like mine to come in just bit sooner than they do.

There is no adjustment, but in theory it might come on a little sooner if you could shade the sensor somehow, like by covering it with a piece of thin fabric. The sensor is on the center of the dash near the windshield.

My past Nissan had an adjustable scale for the user. I’ve had other cars that didn’t have that but was able to have the dealer adjust the sensitivity. I’ll ask next time I bring it in. I’m sure they can adjust it.

Same sensor also gets used to measure the amount of sun the car is getting for climate control reasons. So it may have a noticeable impact on how effective the AC or heat are.
