Audi are subconciously anti advertising EVs.
The whole thing is just a dream.
Its a car your grandpa would buy.
It is in an old farm shed which signifies broken down, abandoned junk.
It is stranded in the middle of nowhere and won't go.
The EV dreaming target that you are led to identify with is a cubicle dwelling loser who chokes on his food, doesn't get the car anyway and ends up depressed.
By 2025, 66% of Audi's range will be pure fossil fuel is the final message.
All tied in with a passion for EVs being equated to a socially humiliating near death experience and being rescued by a patronising female co-worker.
This is the opposite of using the fear of missing out.
It is promoting the fear of getting involved.
I think this ad conveys Audi's sentiments perfectly.
Message received Audi. You are not serious about EV's.
