Quick note that Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix has a Bolt EV on their lot as a demo. They brought the car over from CA and are providing test drives. Their "test drive" left a little to be desired as we just went around the block in a residential area, maybe a mile total. I think it's brand new to their lot so maybe getting used to weirdos like me who wanted to see and drive a car I can't buy until summer.
It is an LT and my 6'2" XXL frame fit just fine in the seat. It's narrow. And firm. But no weird pressure points. The car was loaded with a not small salesman and my wife and two daughters in the back. Surprisingly everyone fit although my daughter in the middle claimed she felt squashed.
L mode was awesome from the minute I started driving it. Felt very natural.
The car was equipped with the video rear view (I think) but I forgot to try it.
The trunk looked surprisingly roomy. Smaller than my Leaf but not by much.
I'm excited thinking about ownership, but a little apprehensive at the price. Leasing might be an option depending on rates and mileage.
