Hi, I'm new here. And I know very little about cars. Sorry if this is obvious or has been asked before.

I need a new wheel for my 2017 Volt because it is damaged. I was quoted $350 by the Tire Shop - and they said it would be over $400 to get from the dealer. He suggested that I look online and maybe order a used one, as it would be much cheaper.

I found something on ebay, but it advertises that it's for a 2016 Volt. I think this should be compatible because it's for a Gen2, right?

Thanks!

Yes, any wheel which fits a 2016 Volt will fit a 2017 Volt.
Check local salvage yards and craigslist as well.

TIRES are all the same, 2016 or 2017. Michelin Energy Saver AS 215/50R17.
There are different WHEELS (rims). The same size, but slightly different in appearance.

Slightly off subject but I just tried to order these:
http://www.hubcaphaven.com/p/23055/aly5725-chevrolet-volt-wheel-black-machined-23251535.html
However they could not fulfill the order saying that the QC from the supplier was not up to their standards and canceled the order.
So, I assume they got a set from the supplier and they didn't look good -- are they refurbishing OEMs? Did they say you could reorder? Curious because I have been looking at ordering these as well...

They refurbish or sell replicas that match oem specs. In this case I believe they were refurbished but did not like the outcome and scraped them with no replacements available at this time.
