Just got a brand new Volt this past weekend. Still haven't quite figured everything out.

My car is parked at an airport lot this whole week, at a shared charging station. I just realized that an alarm will go off if someone pulls the charging cord. This happened to me once at home, and I disregarded it as I was still trying to figure everything out. But I came across a post here indicating that there is a setting available to disable this.

Is there any way to remotely disable this feature? Will the alarm continuously go off? Or will it eventually time out?

I hate the thought of my alarm going off continuously and pissing everyone off.

Perhaps if you were close enough to hear the alarm, or had configured your app to send you a text saying charging was interrupted, you could remotely unlock and then relock the car to get the alarm to stop...

You may already know this, but for next time: You will find a configuration option somewhere in settings to disable the unplug without unlock alarm. I'm not near my car; Does anyone remember where this setting is?
