I'm considering a Gen 2 but I really miss having a sunroof - has anyone seen or installed a sunroof on a Gen 2? I currently have a Gen 1 and Webasto offers a kit - but I don't see a kit for Gen 2.

I didn't know the Gen 1 had an aftermarket sunroof kit. Honestly, I'd love to just have a solar powered vent like what some of the Prius' had available.

Anyone with tools can open the roof. Doing it professionally is what will cost you plenty. I have 330 days of sun per year so I don't need to open any roof to get more.

The Gen 2 roof has some contour lines running through it. That seriously complicates adding a sunroof. Plus it is a relatively low volume car. I think those two factors together mean there is no aftermarket option for it.
