I prefer a sportier look and I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to give the Bolt an edge. I've had a hard time finding any pics of any customizations--probably because it's a brand new car.

Anybody have any pics of any exterior mods they've done?

You probably should try this site for the Bolt.
This is all that I have done to mine so far just the dreaded emblems, But when the first rotation comes up I will be dipping the wheels also.

No pics, but you could plastidip all the chrome be black or gunmetal gray or try to match the body color. I've never liked that black plastic piece on the C pillar. Making that the body color would make the Bolt look better IMHO. Add bigger custom rims and lower profile tires. Put decals on the side. Tint the glass. Or go full ricer boy by adding NOS, a fart can exhaust pipe, and a huge wing to the back (joking, please don't do this last part). Watch Fast and the Furious, Tokyo Drift for some inspiration...

I didn't take a photo, but at Plug-in Day last Saturday in Diamond Bar, CA, one Bolt owner had some distinctive, if not sporty, mods. The car was all-white except he had the entire top covered in bright red vinyl. In back he had removed the Chevy bowtie and replaced with (blue logo) ELECTRIC script taken from a Tesla-powered Rav 4. Same lettering on the lower front doors and something on the hood, maybe a blue logo and EV (?) All Bolt lettering removed, as I recall.
Can't remember wheel treatment, but overall, an instant eye catcher.

That would be me. I also had a clear bra installed. Plus got a Thule roof rack.

Thanks, Steverino. I would imagine the roof rack adds a bit of drag, but would love to see the pics. Silver Ice is the only color I haven't seen in person yet. I'm wondering if that color might give it more of an interesting/sporty look.

Also, found this on the other Bolt site white with black wheels--

It depends on what you strap onto the roof and how fast you drive. If your daily commute is city driving, it won't matter much. But if you put a huge cargo carrier (or your mother in law) up there, and drive 70 MPH, then the drag and the weight might make a difference. Alas, I'm pretty sure there are restrictions on how much weight you can safely place up there.

The wheels are probably platidipped. In fact, I think the Bolt would look wonderful if you dipped the above window chrome and the below window black as well as the chrome near the bottom of the doors in a Silver Turquoise Chameleon. It color shifts between turquoise and purple depending on the angle of the sun.
