Good Evening,

Just wanted to say hi from a relatively new Volt owner. I used to be an Internet Mgr for my local Chevy dealer when the Volt came out so I'm versed on them. I talked my wife into one when she was working in town (traded in her Cadillac STS) but has been commuting 30ish miles each way for the last year and a half. Hers is a 2012 but she drives it like a regular car. Since I'm commuting about 5 miles I traded in my '07 Avalanche (was about to have to invest in a fair amount of maintenance) for a 2013 so we now have 2. Until the cold weather hit today I was over the 250 mpg average. I miss the size and utility of my truck but what I save in fuel pays my payment.

Now I'm trying to convince my employer, Oklahoma State Univ., to install charge stations so I'm researching those options. I'm told I'm only the 2nd person to inquire about that. How can that be with all the Prius's on "America's Greenest Campus"??

Anyway, there's my introduction.

Cheers.

Congrats on the Volts. Good luck on getting campus charging. Seems to be one of the first places in a community to receive public charging around here.

Congrats on getting your new Volt. If the campus has a 110v plug near an area where you park that would also work and requires no investment on the part of the campus.
