I use Android Auto a ton and do know what the OP means. Android Auto babysits you by limiting your interactions. If you have a scrolling list, e.g. a list of artists, it will only let you hit the scroll button about twice before saying "LOCKED FOR SAFETY".

Is there any way to increase or uncap the number of interactions you can have with Android Auto before it locks you out? I really don't think the voice interface is good enough yet, and want the option of clicking around a bit more. It looks like a lot of manufacturers are using the parking brake sensor, but I haven't found a thread about this for the Volt specifically.

While I don't think it's new, I don't use Spotify. I mostly use Google Play Music, Google Maps, Overdrive, and Podcast Addict.Is it something new? I am sure I scrolled a lot on a Spotify list and never had that before.
