I tuned into the Semi reveal late, signed on just in time to catch the Gen 2 Roadster. But later I watched the entire Semi/Roadster reveal. Did everyone catch the new Tesla Pickup? They took the semi cab, got rid of an axle, added a pickup bed, and voila! You can fit a regular pickup in the Tesla pickup!!! Too bad they didn't make this an extended cab as seating for 4 or 6 would be useful.

Coal rollers in crew cab duallies, eat my electrons!!!

The semi-truck makes a lot more sense. The pickup truck using semi without the extra wheels doesn't make sense because pickup truck buyers want four doors, and 5 seat belts.

This is a joke, right? What's that thing in the back?

I don't think this will fit in my garage. How do I unload it? With my handy forklift (which I don't have)? Someone's been smoking something.
Elon plopped up this slide (so it's probably Photoshop and vaporware), mentioned that you can actually drive this with a regular drivers license. It sounds insane as you shouldn't be able to, it's crazy to pull up to a school to drop off your kids in this thing, but I guess since it has 2 axles and not 3 and doesn't have a hitch for a semi truck trailer, it's technically just a really big pickup. It's no different than driving a U-Haul panel truck, except, of course, it's a Tesla.
