So we have at least two vehicles names for units of measure, the Volt, and the Tesla. If we need a name for a new ICE vehicle for those resistant to the idea of an EV, I guess they could name it an Ohm.

Sorry, I believe Ohm is already taken. It is the chant heard from Leaf owners as they wait for the recharging to finish.

There are several units of measurement still available, mostly named after the discoverer of that measurement or property:

Farad (capacitance) - after Michael Faraday
Henry (inductance)
Joule (energy)- it was used for the first Volt color
Watt (power)
Coulomb (charge)
Siemens (conductance) - opposite of Ohm, also a German company name
Weber (magnetic flux)
Oersted (magnetic strength)
Gauss (magnetic density)
Gilbert (magnetic force)

Or you just invent the name of your choice, like most foreign companies do!

I have always liked "Phlogiston" not so must as a unit but because it was an attempt to explain the processes of burning.
