Air Condition pump leaking

My sister and her husband purchased a 2017 Volt about 3 months ago. My brother in law told me that they had to replace the air condition pump as it was leaking. They live in the Mesa Arizona area where they use AC nearly all the time in their Volt. Chevrolet replaced the pump as it was under warranty. He also told me the oil pan was leaking and Chevy dealer only resealed instead of replacing. He told me that the oil pan is to be replaced when removed per chevrolet but so far it is not leaking..

Has anybody with a Gen 2 Volt had any issues like that with the AC. I know the leaking oil pan has been an issue with 2016/17 Volts.
