I'd like to point out that the 5-spoke wheel design that has been seen on renderings and prototypes of the Volt is very un-aerodynamic.

Smooth, flat wheel caps are much more aerodynamic. Look at the wheels of the Honda Civic Hybrid...brushed metal texture, aerodynamic and futuristic.

Regarding the wheel size, I read that the Citroen C-Cactus concept car was equipped with 20" thin wheels. Large wheels reduce rolling resistance. I hope the Volt could have such feature instead of weak looking 14" wheels.
