Been working with a dealer and seem to have reached their best price. Wanted to see if you all felt this was a deal I should pounce on, or if I am likely to see better prices as the holidays roll around.

2017 Premier w/ Driver Conf 1 and 2 and ACC. Price, excluding tax, tags, title: $34000. MSRP: $40030

Let me know what you think

Thanks!

Seems like a solid deal, I would ensure you get an out the door price to ensure BS and/or inflated fees aren't added...Also guessing you do not have a trade in but just do your homework if you are since dealers may try you lowball you...

Thanks, I do have a trade-in, but I will go through my usual process, of getting a car max quote, getting a quote from another dealer along with the KBB value to keep from getting screwed on the trade.

Its a good point on the fees, I am in MD, and they have some pretty good laws capping fees at $300, so there isn't much wiggle room to gouge there, but I haven't gotten in to that with them, so that's a good question to ask.

Thanks for the advice.

For the current market, that price is sound. As for doing better, there are always better deals. I fully expect to see 20% come back around Thanksgiving. If that happens, there should be deals to be had on your same car for 30k or less. It all depends on timing though and how much patience you have. I could be wrong too, but that is my take on it.
