Call the dealer and see it you decided to get that option added, if it's still supported. My guess is what works for 2018 will work for 2019.

Is that something some EVSE L1 chargers come with?

The original Voltec EVSE's have the LED light in the schnozzle. Why others don't baffles me. It's very handy in the dark.

$$$ of course. Though I think it would be a great premium feature that people would pay for.

I wouldn't PAY for an illuminated charge port, but I'm glad the '17 I got used has it.

Sure but an LED and the 20' of #14 wire are pennies. Given that it is a very nice feature at a few dollars markup, I wonder if it's a patent issue rather than the extra cost.
