Hi Volties! My 1st posting! I just bought a 2015 Volt from California. Sure it has DRL's (Daytime Running Lights) BUT you can turn them OFF by turning the switch on the left steering wheel stalk to OFF. In Canada, that is a FAIL. The DRL's must be on all the time the car is on, period.

So, does anyone know if I can do something to make the DRL's stay on all the time?

Thanks!

My "Guess" would be - Take it to the dealer and have them set the software for DRL. Or, call them and ask if they can.

That's right, the dealer can update the software to make the US car legal in Canada. That might include the short duration signal of the Homelink (may or may not have to reprogram your garage door openers, different programming procedure) and the fact that if you want to program a third FOB as a spare, you need to have two FOBs present to do it, not just one like in the States.
