Any opinions on how high I should consider on mileage for a used 2013? I realize that there is ultimately an 8 yr/100k on the battery and I am aware of the general strong reliability. I plan to keep the car for approx 5 years as the electric range is ideal for my commute. I currently drive 12k miles per year. I am thinking ~50k is about as high as I am comfortable with on the top end. That keeps me within the battery warranty for the majority of my ownership for sure.

The prices on higher mileage are noticeably lower (which is normal across used cars). I am not scared per se of higher miles, but wanted to see if anyone had any insight on implications to higher miles on a volt. At 50k miles, it would equate to approximately 16k per year, which isn't really high in my opinion.

If I buy another it will probably have over 100,000, (unless less miles costs less)
volts too reliable to worry about miles.

I agree. I bought mine with 93K and don't worry about the reliability. The way I look at it is that I got a GREAT deal, which gives me a comfortable cushion of funds to play with for any needed repairs that aren't covered under my remaining warranty or after my warranty expires vs. what I would have spent for something with even half the miles. If your financing, maybe find out what the payment difference would be between the lower and higher mileage cars, and set aside the difference for repairs. Odds are, you likely won't need to touch that money, and it's all money you would have spent anyway just to have the lower mileage car.
