Didn't see my symptoms posted anywhere, so here's something that may help if/when you get the above message on your DIC

I had been using the ACC most of the day and got a message that my charge door was not closed . . . . and then the ACC would not engage. Stopped, closed the charge port door and still no ACC. Stopped again, turned off the car, restarted it and still no ACC. Weather was clear, the car and the windshield were clean - No reason I could think of for the ACC refusing to do it's thing. I did notice that my regenerative braking seemed a little weaker than normal about the same time. Both using the paddle and decelerating in 'L' seemed to me to take maybe 15 or 20% longer to slow the car

After I got home and got to thinking about it, I wondered about my tire pressures. No indication from the TPMS that any were low, but it had been 2 or 3 months since I last aired them up. When I checked, all 4 were low, at least a good bit lower than I usually keep them. 33 or 34 in all 4 tires. Aired them back up to 40 and took it for a drive today and the ACC works fine and the regen is back to normal. I'm about 98% sure that the lower than normal tire pressures were why my ACC and regen were acting up, so if you get the 'Temporarily Unavailable' message on a clear day, you might want to check your tire pressures

That's really strange. I have trouble imagining how the car's systems would be set up to end up with that result where the tire pressure matters to the ACC system.

Several people have reported in other threads that there's a brake pedal issue that can cause the ACC to be disabled. It may be that you have that problem as well and that you pumped the brake enough in repeatedly starting the car that it loosened.

I suspected the brake pedal issue right off the bat, but holding the pedal up with my foot didn't make any difference

It's been several months now and I've kept a better eye on the tire pressures and the issue hasn't come up again
