From a GM insider. ACC will be available on 2019. He was here in Orlando after the NASCAR race. 2 of his coworkers agreed. That’s all he would say. True? It was during a discussion about the Bolt I asked why the 2018 did not have it. He declined to say why. He added the 2019 will have it. We will see. He knew quite a bit about all EVs not just the Bolts. This discussion was at EPCOTs GM “Test Track” attraction.

We will see. First time anyone knowledgeable said anything but no comment.

Why would it not be listed in the 2019 ordering guide? Seems iffy at best. But for those who this is a live or die requirement, I hope it proves true.

Maybe he meant the 2020 model, to be delivered in the second half of 2019. As Steverino mentions, it's not in the MY2019 order guide.

Speaking from experience, sometimes insiders can loose track of when something actually delivers to consumers as compared to when you work on it!

Do the initial order guides include things that aren't yet available or only the stuff that is? When did ACC show up in the guide for the Volt in comparison to when it was ACTUALLY orderable?

I told him that GM Authority dot com said NO ACC for 2019. He just repeated 2019. Could be a February option? No comment. He knew of GM Authority.

ACC is such a great feature, I can't understand why it wasn't an option on the Bolt from day one.

Interesting. I hope this is true. I'm still waiting for GM to announce the two new EVs based on the Bolt EV platform that are supposed to be released in the next nine months.
