Hi everyone, I was curious if any of you have had issues with the Volt not blowing any air.

I recently just got my 2012 Volt with 60k miles right now. When I got the car every now and then the AC fans wouldn't blow. It would probably happen once a week. For the past week it has happened at least 8 times where I start the car, and the fans are not blowing any air at all. I have changed my driving mode from eco to sport/mountain. I have also tried turning the AC from Eco to Comfort, and still nothing changes.

Very rarely after driving for 40+ minutes the air will magically turn on. I have no idea what could be going on and when I took it into the dealership to take a look at it, they were unable to determine the issue.

Looking forward to hearing from all of you.

Thanks.

That's weird - have you tried manually increasing the fan speed? Have you tried raising or lowering the temp while on "Auto"? That should adjust the fan as appropriate.

I seem to recall past threads taking about pulling out a fuse and putting it back in after awhile for an issue related to the Climate Control but not sure if it's the same.

Good luck!

Hi DZD, thanks for replying. I have tried adjusting the fan speeds manually, I've tried probably around damn near every scenario that I could do.

I will see if I can find any info on the fuse thing you're talking about. I actually took the car into the dealership today and they are telling me that I'm most likely going to need a reprogram. So we will see.

Thanks
