Sorry to be picky, but you would need to add 2 gallons of fresh fuel to 1 gallon of old fuel to end up with a 33% to 66% mixture.
Sorry to be picky, but you would need to add 2 gallons of fresh fuel to 1 gallon of old fuel to end up with a 33% to 66% mixture.Just don't run the fuel tank completely dry. The Volt needs at least a small amount of fuel in the fuel tank else it will switch to reduced propulsion mode. Instead of emptying the tank now why not just get down to 1 gallon of old fuel and then add 1.5 gallons of fresh fuel. The mix would be 33% old fuel and 66% fresh fuel, that should keep FMM from running for 8 months. That should last you until sometime next winter when you stated you will add some fuel for Engine Assist Heat.
I'm glad that somebody is paying attention. That mix would be 40% old gas and 60% new gas.Sorry to be picky, but you would need to add 2 gallons of fresh fuel to 1 gallon of old fuel to end up with a 33% to 66% mixture.
I agree, I can't wait until GM puts out a Voltec Equinox or similar. In a nut shell, a GMC Acadia sized vehicle with a Voltec power train that could go about 40 miles electric would be the PERFECT vehicle for me and I suspect millions of Americans.
Subyukonade!!!!I agree, I can't wait until GM puts out a Voltec Equinox or similar.
+1!Subyukonade!!!!
Why not add an Escalade to our FrankensteinSubyukonLade!!!!
The "ade" was for the Escalade. Subyukonade is easier to pronounce than Subyukonlade. The thing to add would be Subyukonaderado to add a Silverado to the mix.Why not add an Escalade to our Frankenstein

This will never get old.Subyukonaderado
If you search the entire internet. You will discover that I coined Subyukonade not too long ago. I think I'm the only one using it, but who knows, maybe someday it will make its way into the urban dictionary. This will never get old.
