At Cargill Chevrolet, we're excited about the Chevy Volt! Right now through June 30, 2013 we have a very special promotion we'd like to share with you. It's called 30 Volts in 30 days. Our goal is to deliver 30 Volts in the month of June. We have 5 orders placed since the beginning of March (yup, in less than 2 weeks) so we just need 25 more. Tell us how you want your Volt built and we'll have GM build it for you, at or below invoice. If you're thinking about a Volt lease, we can do that too. We're working on an interactive Volt section to our website, so keep your eyes peeled!! http://www.cargillchev.com

Any idea when more concrete pricing would be known? I'm about 380 miles from the dealership and would be interested depending on pricing, and lease terms, etc.

two questions come to mind...

1) does the "best price guarantee" include matching some of the crazy deals the CA dealerships post here?
2) do all of these volts have the low emissions package included?

i've been looking at getting one from CA and having it shipped (i'm in eastern PA), so the free delivery within 1000 miles (which i am) sounds like a better deal. but it is a MUST that i get one with the low emissions package, since i'm planning a move to CA and need it to get HOV access once i move...

I thought all 2013's had low emissions package? Or is that just in Ca?

I'm in WA. How long would it take for you to get a trial Volt to my house? :)

This is great,,,,if true, and I'm not saying it isn't. I just don't know how this can be when they only show 3 Volts available on their website. Still I hope this works. This would be a great way to sell Volts, or any other car.

Folks,

I bought my 2013 Volt from Cargill about 4 weeks ago. They are the real deal. My purchase experience was one of the best ever. They are honest, upfront, and will give you the best price. I was able to negotiate a price over the phone with them in the morning, drive down to the dealership for a test drive at noon time (I am located in central MA, about 40 minutes away from Cargil) and drove home with my new Volt a few hours later (they lent me dealer plates for a week while they took care of getting me new plates from my state's RMV). Just a great experience. Please PM me if you are interested in the deal I got.

I am a very satisified Cargil customer and just want to pass this information on to fellow forum members.

They keep a few in stock, but this promotion is for placing orders for delivery of certain colors and options, as mentioned in the post they already have placed 5 such orders. That is why the in stock inventory appears low.

Although we only have 3 Volts in-stock right now, we have allocation for 30 Volts from GM and they will be at Cargill by June!

Cargill,

I'm really hoping you come back with something better than what we've been emailing about, I was really excited by this promotion and it was THE reason I was considering a volt. When you were beaten on your first offer by BOTH of my local dealers with better options locally, I was just disappointed. Lets see what round two has to offer.

Don't know if your edit was to add the disclaimer to the bottom of your photo or not, but I really don't like the idea of federal tax credits being called savings. You aren't potentially saving me anything there, I still have to spend my money, and then hope the government is solvent to give me my taxes back. Just bringing that disclaimer to light in case anyone has missed it, I'll continue dialogue via PM.

The federal tax credit is money back in pocket; it's not a reduction of taxes due. Our customers have told us that the extra $7500 in cash back was a deciding factor in their decision to purchase a Volt. At Cargill we try our best to be as transparent as possible. During this savings event we're selling our Volts at or below invoice, minus rebates. We're offering free home delivery within 1000 miles of the dealership as well. We're excited to offer the Chevy Volt and offer our customers a great shopping experience!!

The $7500 "tax credit" is the SAME for all dealerships, and because of incentives from GM, all dealerships i talked to offered me below invoice pricing. Those are not relevant, in terms of "why a buyer should choose Cargill".
