Well, its a start.

V7Z NEW! LT Driver Confidence Package, includes (UD7) Rear Park Assist, (UFG)
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and (UKC) Side Blind Zone Alert
1 - Requires (PCQ) leather-appointed seats and (PDB) Comfort Package.
A1 --

It SHOULD NOT require getting leather though. Shame on GM.

That's lousy. What does leather have to do with safey packages?

I guess it's good that you can get the DC package on the LT and that Bose is now standard. I'm wondering if the "automatic" heated steering wheel means it can also be made automatic for preconditioning, like the seats. That might be ok -- but not if it switches on along with the seats -- that would be annoying as I may not want both.

I'm not a fan of the Cajun Red, but am curious about the green mist or satin steel. Hoping for a bit more of a deeper green color.

I originally thought the same thing about the steering wheel (wanting it to heat up during a precondition in cold weather) However it heats up so amazingly fast once you push the button, I no longer worry. For me, maybe 15 seconds after I push the heated steering wheel button, I can start to feel it warming up.

I see a Rear Vision Camera is standard. And re the green one can only hope GM finds the paint code for Lime Rock Green that was used for one year on the 2014 Stingray. It was spectacular.

Somebody explain to me why I can't get an 8 way power seat in a car with a $35000 MSRP.
namely who adjusts their seat that often?

unless you have two different drivers I rarely see the point and this is the first car in a decade I have owned that did not have power seats and I have yet to remember it until someone mentions its.

btw, cannot wait to see that price of the driver confidence package. It might be sufficiently high that buying top trim level becomes a no brainer.

I am 5'9" and my wife is 5'4. I would really enjoy power seat with memory!!

LT safety package is a letdown, automatic emergency braking should be standard on all trims to compete with the Prime...

Sort of disappointed, was hoping that the cold weather package would include the Malibu hybrid exhaust heat recovery

True, when I was young... I almost never moved the seat in "my" car, and heated seats never crossed my mind.
When you pass age 60, you'd be surprised how priorities change. I'm in great shape for my age, never had a major back injury or surgery, and do a lot of core exercises, but hey things just start hurting for no good reason. Especially on a long drive it's nice to shift the seat position and lumbar support is a bigger issue.
I wouldn't complain so much but an 8 way power seat is available in a Cruze LT. A car that is like $14000 cheaper.

Find out how much that seat will cost, and buy one for your Volt. I don't need it yet (and I am 65 years old).

Maybe not, will have to wait and see. The 2017 Premier has the leather wrap with the jewel. Does the 2017 LT have leather or vinyl?
