I’ve always been a bit curious how much I could regen going down after climbing.
Yesterday we left my house (about 300 ft elevation)- right near the Straits. Then drove up to Hurricane Ridge (5250 ft) and out to the end of the road (some up and down, not too far).
total is about 20 miles one way from my house.

it took most of a full charge (2018) to get there. Estimate was around 7 mile Range after I got back to the ‘Ridge- and ready to head down.
It charged the batteries back up to almost 1/2 full on the way back down (estimated some 38 mile range at the bottom)
I didn’t use the brake back down at all, until the stop sign near the bottom.

It is a great road, fabulous views.

I regenerated from empty to three bars from empty on the descent from Independence Pass to Aspen.

That's an interesting test. I will have to remember that next time I visit the Ridge. Did you use the regen paddle extensively on the descent?
