Is the car within the 3 year/36k mile B2B warranty? If so, it's covered.

Not exactly sure what your last sentence means.

Just wondering if the body is under warranty. I had water leak in the trunk that i discovered 3 weeks ago. I found where the water is coming from. there are 2 area on the back panel has dripping when it rains which caused the water in my trunk which shorted out my radio module which was replaced by me not under warranty . And since that happened, the car does not charge past 70kms and my chragepoint said 90km. any suggestions.

i found the water leak. There is water dripping into the trunk on the rear panel. I guess that's not covered under warranty. That would be a defect . had the car for 3 years no damage and now it leaks water.

If the car is still under the initial 3 year bumper to bumper warranty then yes, the body would be covered. The radio module would have been covered as well.

ditto for me with my 2013. Has happened twice now after heavy rainfall. i took everything out of the trunk, removed the fuzzy floor panel which was soaked through, unscrewed and removed the base panel… there’s water pooling down there around the battery etc. I stuffed newspaper down into the crevices…water keeps pooling up from seemingly somewhere underneath!? am i crazy? I’m trying to dry it out… i can not figure out where the water is coming from though. I don’t have covered parking at work so this will be an ongoing issue…
Has anyone tried taking it to the dealer? That’s my next move although I’m not sure they’ll be of much help.

The water may have backed up into other nooks and crannies. The what you see coming in may just be those areas draining back into the wheel well sump. Water is pernicious. A small pinhole or crack in a seam can be all that's needed for it to get in. So, it's a bad seal somewhere. Could be a gasket, a steel overlap seam, a wire hole. You'll need to carefully sleuth with a CSI flashlight :-(

I'll tell you my worries about the hatch area on these Volts. If you look at the "paint" in the valley between the rear glass and the hatch frame, it is rough, at least on mine. Doesn't appear the robot got any clearcoat down there. Every time I wash mine, I make sure to wipe out around here, and also, under the top of the hatch by the roof. Debris accumulating here, and breaking down, with the half-ass paint protecting the area under the glass is a recipe for rust, and certainly, seal failure. Not sure but the "seal" seems to be some sort of adhesive/caulking, not a true rubber seal. Recipe for disaster. I bought a rubber cargo mat; you might as well. Also should be noted clearcoat has failed on my roof and hatch (failed at the 5 year mark last fall) to the point that even GM has offered to repaint it for a small deductible.
