Anyone else have problems with steering wheel stitching on their Volt? My car is just 2 1/2 weeks old and I just noticed today that there are "sharp" areas of stitching where it appears the underlying material (foam?) below the leather is exposed:

Yes, I have noticed one "sharp" spot, at about the 7 o'clock position. It is not readily visible, but easily felt when sliding my hands around the wheels.

I'm uber anal about such things, I forced my dealer to replace the steering wheel on my 2014 Stingray as there as a sharp edge I cut my finger on. At first they tried blowing me off, so I asked the Service Manger to sit in the drivers seat and I took his hand and told him I will drag it over the area in question. He stopped me and ordered the new wheel.

But my 2017 steering wheel has no such flaws.

Good luck

Hi all, just bought a very nice 2014 Volt. Car has been well maintained but noticed 2 things. First is the steering wheel is peeling (see attached photo). Dealer said it's wear and tear and not covered under warranty. Volt has 90,400 miles on it. I beg to differ as I've never seen a steering wheel leather come apart like that. Any advice from other members that may have had a similar probrlem?

Second issue this Volt was missing the 2 left and right windshield. these are little long rubber strips. Seller said it's a known problem with the Volts. My question is where can I get this rubber replaced at bedsides the dealerships.
