I have never heard a sound from my shifter or shift knob (2017 Premier). The shift knob feels solid since day 1. Are there still Volt advisors?
I like my service dealer a lot, but when I called about my gen 1 for the wind buffet fix, they initially said no. I called the Volt advisor, and about an hour later got calls back from both the advisor and the dealer to schedule the work at no cost. BTW as others reported, the gen 1 wind buffet fix was amazing.
