HI everyone,

I have a 2017 Volt Premiere model. If I'm on a bluetooth phone call, then park and lock the car, as I walk away the phone stays connected to the car. I can hear the person I'm talking to in the car, but other than turning off bluetooth on my phone, is there a fix or option I can change in the menus to fix this really annoying problem? My 2013 Volt didn't have this issue.

Thanks,

George

Just turn off your phone's Bluetooth.

That shouldn't happen. When you open the door it should automatically switch to the handset or rather it does on the Gen 1. I know when I turn my car off, if I haven't exited yet, an option on the screen prompts me to switch to handset at that time, but once I open the door and the head unit shuts off, it automatically goes back to the handset.

Also, was the call started before you opened the door or after you opened a door? I ask because maybe if the call started before any doors opened, the Volt might maintain the call through it's bluetooth to avoid disrupting your call.
