I've tried using both my.chevrolet.com and myvolt.com and neither is able to deliver correct stats about my 2017 Volt. myvolt.com continues to report that it is unable to access my information, despite my phone app being able to connect and show status, and despite my.chevrolet.com also able to connect. myvolt.com does reveal my charging status and other information, just not the history data.

I purchased the car new in January. There are now 3045 miles on the car, 2,662 miles are all-electric according to my.chevrolet.com. Scrolling down to the "Electricity Used" line, it reports "13 Kwh" lifetime, but "163 Kwh" for the last 12 months.

Under "Electric Economy" it shows 36 Kwh/100mi lifetime, but 5,628Kwh/100mi for the last 12 months.

Under "Fuel Economy" it shows 226 MPG lifetime, 262 MPG for the last 12 months.

Assuming the other stats are correct, I've driven a total of 383 ICE miles on 13 gallons of gas, or 29.5 MPG. So I'm not sure where it is getting the fuel economy numbers from.

Overall I'm happy with the car. I have a 55-mile one-way commute to work and the last 11 miles on the way in is all uphill using ICE. When I return home, it is all electric with 17 miles to spare.

I just wish some better thought and care was put into managing the website and connectivity.

Your best bet is to keep a personal spreadsheet to track your data. The websites you mention often are lacking. It's been going on for years.

The GM sites are often broken. Do what many of us do - use http://voltstats.net
