So I took my 2017 Volt in for an oil change, tire rotation, recall notices and a check engine light. The engine code was something to do with the evaporative system. I tried a new gas cap without any luck, so decided to have the dealer look into it. Well, it turns out that I also have a transaxle leak. So the parts were ordered for that. Now they're saying I have a evaporative tube that is disconnected and it requires pulling the engine to fix it. Good grief! I thought I was taking my car in for routine maintenance more than anything else, but this has turned into a 9-day ordeal, and they are saying a few more days before they're done. In the mean time I'm driving a brand new loaner car, a Cruze. It's a really cheap car compared to the Volt. I want my Volt back!
