I see the Bolt EV will be exhibited, but can't find any announcement of test drives. Anyone know?

Can’t say anything about Chicago (didn’t locate anything on the show website about test drives), but if you can make it instead to Oregon the Portland International Auto Show, January 26-29, 2017, as told on the portlandautoshow.com website:

"Chevrolet is back this year, including an exclusive all Bolt EV Ride and Drive on Friday, and a full line of Chevrolet vehicles including the Bolt EV on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Location: North end of the Convention Center at the Holladay show entrance, Thursday – Sunday 10:00am to 5:30pm."

Chevy has thanked me for driving my 2012 Volt by e-mailing me two free tickets to the show, urging me to come Friday and take a test drive.

That's awesome! I usually don't go to auto-shows, but am interested in test driving the Bolt.

They could thank me with two free tickets to the Chicago show for being one of the Volt's first customers in 2011, but I'm not holding my breath...

I was wondering the same thing. I asked the chat on the website and they didn't have a clue lol. Told me to talk to my local dealer. I'm going up on the 11th to check it out.

Called my dealer, no clue but gave me a number to call at the auto-show. "No test drives" with a lame "you know they aren't available here" excuse.

I was interested in going if they had a test drive.

Considering you can order in May for Illinois, this is a missed opportunity for them to drum up enthusiasm here in the midwest. Probably like lots of others, I'm planning to attend the car show to check it out and we won't see them until September in Missouri. Seems a little short-sighted to me.

Is this the same dealer that sold your Volt?

I agree, short sighted by Chevy.

The dealer I bought my Volt from was in NY, so no.
