What did you pay for your 2017 Premier trim price in Ontario? I am being offered $47100 and only a $1000 Visa GM discount. Shouldn't there be more movement on price? Will there be 2017 discounts soon in Ontario when 2018 get announced?

Maybe the dealer is thinking the Ontario $14,000 rebate is incentive enough?

I had to wait 5 weeks before I got mine and it wasn't the one I ordered. My dealer tried to get me one from another dealer and was unsuccessful—supply is tight. I managed a $500 discount above the GM incentives.

The $14K incentive I don't factor in to a dealer negotiation since that is a provincial incentive and not a manufacturer or dealer incentive. Trying to see what best deals of MSRP that people have received. Right now the vehicle is 47000 and one dealer is offering me $1000 Visa + 1600 dealer off 47K while another dealer is only offering the $1000 Visa and $0 dealer discount. I would expect more movement off MSRP in both cases so looking for comparisons

The dealers have little incentive to negotiate in Ontario given limited dealer allocations, and Ontario $14K incentive (best in the world as far as I know). If you can get the GM Visa + 1600 off I would snap that up. You can't beat the car you will get at that price (with the incentive of course). I managed to get the GM visa discount plus free window tint and reduced dealer admin fee and no window etching fee (which is an absolute sham given Volt has Onstar and this is 2017 not 1980) so I am ok with this.

Other than a $500 GM Scotia Card incentive, I got nothing other than the $14,000 incentive in Ontario for my 2017 LT. I didn't have much choice on colour. I either took Heather Grey Metallic now, or wait for Kinetic blue for mid June (this was 2 months ago). I ended up getting mine for just under MSRP without the incentive involved. I love the grey and glad I went for it, but stock is very limited and when they get stock, it's gone within a week unless its overpriced. $47k for a premier isn't terrible unless there's no options to reflect that price point. I've seen some as high as $55k and I just laughed at them.

Geez, I am from the prairies where there are no incentives, there are a few dealerships that have Volts. I went to deal on one and they are not willing to move here either. Just the 1000 GM visa/mastercard app discount. To me its weird as out here you can buy a new Denali half ton for almost the price of a Volt Premier.
