A 2016 shouldn't need an oil change for probably a year in the future, so you have plenty of time to figure it out. I am pretty sure Mobil 1 meets the Dexos specification listed in the owner's manual. My personal feeling is that any name brand filter that fits will be just fine. My 2011 will be due for it's 3rd oil change shortly, I have been letting the dealer service department take care of it for roughly $25, and it generates unquestionable documentation that it was done. So don't see the point in doing it myself.
