If you are setting the Home location so that the Volt can default to 12 amp Level 1 charging at home be sure to park as close as possible to where you will be charging when you set the Home location. The Volt may not recognize that the vehicle is parked in the Home location if you need to park in a different spot to charge.

I have tried parking outside inside etc. gps is always unavailable. I have no feedback from the app either. Can’t get any stats on my car. Must be a connection issue.

I've discovered that I need to be at the end of my driveway to set the Home location. Too close to my house and the building interferes with this setting. There's about a 100 ft radius for the Home location once it's been set. I just wish it didn't "clear" every 90 days.
