Hey everyone,

Apologies for the person I am stealing this pic from (a 2016 LT).

Does everyone have these "rear seat belt" indicators above the shifter position? I just turned on my 2017 Volt LT and never seen them before. I mean I definitely have that red light.

My Volt has a back seat? Oh yeah... that thing. 99% of my driving is solo, and I’m an empty nester... so.

Neat indicator though.

No. The rear seat belt indicators were removed for the 2017 model year.

I wonder why? My 2015 has them, as I have seen them on the few occasions I've had rear seat passengers. If they sit in the seat, it turns the light red. If they then fasten the seat belt, they change color then eventually disappear. Useful if you have kids in the back.
