2016 HVAC Electrical Trouble after 12V Battery Change

My 2016 Chevy Volt has been having some HVAC trouble ever since I got the 12V battery changed.
  • The Climate Control dial doesn't show the temperature on top of it anymore, but turning it changes values on the screen.
  • The Fan Control dial can adjust values on screen but the fans don't blow air at all.
  • Defog doesn't work either.
  • Pressing Eco or Max don't light up the physical buttons either.
  • Bluetooth, Radio and the rest of the screen based functions including carplay work fine.

Wondering if someone here knows what could be amiss and if there's something DIY I can try before giving up and taking it to the shop. Thanks!

I think there is a way to do a reset on the car... some combination of holding the start button for a long time while standing on your left foot with your right hand out of the window sort of thing....

its the car version of turning it off and turning it back on
I know the battery would have been disconnected but have you tried removing the ground off the 12 volt battery and reconnecting it again after 10 minutes?
It's a long shot but it'll only take 10 minutes of your time to give it a try.
