thats not what I'm gonna pay for it.wink wink.may have lined up an enclosed trailer transport.just need to talk myself into it.I've been watching that one, too. They also have another 16, non-perf, same miles, lower price.
Go for it, there aren't many out there.
No. Only 2014 and 2016.Did they make any 2015 ELR's? I ask because when I do a search on cars.com the years jump from 2014 to 2016. Thanks
thank youI love mine. 2016 is the year to get, and I also have the performance package. In sport mode on a back road, it's a very fun car, and still has a nice ride in tour mode. If you're in a cold weather area, you might want to replace the summer-only tires with all-weather performance tires. If you have a gen-1 Volt, don't be surprised if the ELR beats it for real world EV range, even with the huge, sticky tires.
Adaptive cruise control was an option, I'm guessing ordered on less than half the ELRs out there. If that's important to you, just something for you to look for.
These cars are a ridiculous bargain if you can find one. One of the best Cadillac interiors ever, and overall the luxury and technology of a near-six-figure car.
I was looking at 1 in woburn ma,colonial cadillac had a 14 for the same price,10k less miles,but thats no big deal to me.Good price for a low mileage '16. I like the carbon fiber.
thank you
and yes,,this car does have adaptive cruise control.
I'm not to worried about the tires,,this car will never see snow.
have a chevy 2500hd w/ bf goodrich ko2's for snow.
getting excited,lined up an enclosed trailer transport to get the car.good to have friends in the used car biz.
There are some significant differences between the '14 and '16. See GM's link here.I was looking at 1 in woburn ma,colonial cadillac had a 14 for the same price,10k less miles,but thats no big deal to me.
Yes, if you are dead set on having adaptive ask for a pic of the build options from the panel in the trunk. Also when cruise is enabled adaptive will have a car and an arrow not a gauge and an arrow for the icon in the DIC.Double and triple check the adaptive. The dealer told me that neither of their 16s have adaptive, including that exact stock number.
he's checking tomorrow,,doesn't matter,deals done.car should get picked up Thurs for a 1700 mile trip in an enclosed trailer.he did say that he's not seen a perf. packaged car w/ acc.Double and triple check the adaptive. The dealer told me that neither of their 16s have adaptive, including that exact stock number.
The fifth VIN character is 'M'. If it's the same as 2014 VINs, that is not ACC equipped.he's checking tomorrow,,doesn't matter,deals done.car should get picked up Thurs for a 1700 mile trip in an enclosed trailer.he did say that he's not seen a perf. packaged car w/ acc.
I used this data to research the 14's I was looking at.This didn't seem to work for the 16's.The fifth VIN character is 'M'. If it's the same as 2014 VINs, that is not ACC equipped.
Mine is a code 'R'. I use ACC a LOT, so, I wouldn't buy a car of any make without this feature.
The 5th character of the VIN indicates the options.
L = base
M = luxury only
N = kona only
P = luxury & kona
R = luxury & adaptive cruise
S = luxury, kona & adaptive cruise
good question,hopefully close to what the gen1 volts gotHow far can one of those go on a change?
