Since early last year I have no longer been receiving Text Notifications for "Charge Complete" or "Charge interruption".
I have a 2015 Volt and I can get details about my car from the MyChevrolet app on my phone.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Glenn
PS I love my Volt. I also have a 2023 EUV Bolt. The Volt is the luxury car. 8<)

Log out of the app. Download the most recent version. Sign back in and check your notification settings. Try changing the settings then changing them back.

Thank you. I have just reinstalled the latest version of the MyChevrolet app.
Currently my Volt is completely charged. So we will see what happens tomorrow.
I will let you know.
Thank you,
Glenn

This is strictly out of curiousity: What do you use that text mesage information for? Does it affect your decision, or your actions, in any way?
A public, shared, charge station? Yeah, polite action is to move the car when complete to free the station for another to use. My method is to use the estimated (within 15 min.) completion time shown on the display at plug-in as the time to move.

Untill the end of last year used the notifications to remind me those times I was in a rush and forgot to plug in when I got home so I would not come to an uncharged battery in the morning.

But having a 2011 and loosing the 3G connection when they did not allow us to upgrade the phone module the end of last year like they did for the Canadians I lost that ability.

Whoops! My bad! I had read somewhere that OnStar indicated the 2015 Chevys would be included in the 3G shutdown. Didn't know the 15s had 4G LTE - never looked up their specs.

I lost this connection and notifications when I dumped OnStar well before my 2013 system's "sunset." Too much hassle and grief dealing with OS, and the app was unreliable.

I believe that my clock no longer automatically updates to DST and vice versa. I had to manually change the clock on Monday, even though I have the auto update box checked in the menu. I believe that this is due to the lack of 3G connectivity in my 2014. AmIright?

Maybe, but I have a 2017 and this functionality stopped in the Fall for me, and it did not work for spring either.

My 2015 DID update the time on March 12th, which surprised me because it didn’t back in November. Go figure.

thanks for the reminder -- A week late- I note I forgot on my 2012 which needs a manual set using the (TP )
toilet paper button.

One of my pet peeves! Having a dedicated TP button for something that happens twice a year... but no dedicated button for "now playing" which I would use at least once every drive (switching between climate and music screens)! Luckily the "back" button generally works for this, but what a weird decision.

Guessing us pre-2015 can't retrofit the 2015's LTE module? Would be nice to get my 2013 connected again, oh well.

Not officially. Canada got official ones because their CDMA went away in a much more orderly fashion instead of getting dragged out for four more years. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10166666-9999.pdf You might be able to rig your own with the instructions there, but bear in mind that one of the changes with the actual 2015 Volt module was the that the bluetooth connectivity was off-boarded from the telematics module to a separate one, so you're going to need to pick a Gen 9.4 or 10 module that has bluetooth on, and I don't know exactly how to determine that. The TSB only mentions "if there's a Bluetooth antenna on the old one, move it to the new one."
