I have a 2015 Volt that I'm leasing. We've had it for 26 months, and it has 34850 miles on it. Today, when rolling up the driver's side front window, I heard a "clunk" and the window stopped rolling up. It appears that the regulator is broken.

I've never leased before, so I'm not sure how warranty work is done. Is it the same as an owned car, with my local dealership being able to do the work? I bought it 350 miles from here.

Would this car still be covered under the bumper-to-bumper warranty?

I know I'll probably get an answer from the dealership tomorrow, but I'd like to know what to expect.

Thanks

The warranty works just like a purchased car. The bumper to bumper warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles. So it should be fixed at no cost to you. And, yes you can take it to any Chevy dealer. Try to find one that has a Volt Tech on site.
There is probably a paragraph in your lease agreement that says you must keep everything on the car in working order even if it was out of warranty, you would still be on the hook to get it repaired.

If I'm not mistaken, the warranty is the same as the car you bought. If something happens to your car, you can safely go to the dealer and they should fix the problem. When I bought the car, I immediately decided to take out additional insurance. My friend recommended an insurance company autoauto.com.au, so I decided to go to them and buy insurance. I can say that I have never regretted it. If any problems arise, the insurance company solves them right away. So it's a good investment.
