How long does it take to program the fob AFTER you press the power button for 2 seconds???
I bought a spare fob, and it will not program
It is the same P/N as the ones I have, but it will not program for some reason....OR, I just didn't wait long enough....I waited about 2-3 minutes and nothing !!!

I just re-fobbed my 2013 because one of the fobs was constantly killing the battery. I followed the directions here:

It worked perfectly, and once i had the power button for about 2.5 seconds the screen flashed up that it was ready for the next, and the new remote worked, despite it not being cut yet.

I may program all of our keys for both Volts now.
