Hi all,
My Drive Mode Button seems to be malfunctioning. If you've had this issue do you remember the estimated repair cost?

When I first start the car, pushing the drive mode button works fine. However after about 20 minutes of driving, when I push the drive mode button, usually nothing happens. No menu appears which allows me to alter the drive mode.

Model Year: 2013.

Ok i see this issue has popped up before. Some solutions are posted in the thread on page 2.

One person said the dealer estimated around $600 to fix due to the labour to take apart the front infotainment system.

I have taken the front center console off, it takes a flat blade screwdriver and a phillips screwdriver and maybe a 7mm nutdriver, and about one minute of time.

Also, some of the buttons are available on ebay new and cheap.

The button is easy to fix, less than 1 min. Pop off the face by gently using a flat blade screwdriver and after face is off use a small amount of electrical contact cleaner and spray it around the push button. Press it several times. Should work perfect assuming no other damage. Seems the contacts get dirty.

Yes, this works great. I just used canned air in there this time after removing button. Worked too👍
