I got in my 2012 Volt for work on Thursday morning and noticed my range was low at 31 miles and had not charged overnight on my L2 Chargepoint EVSE. I just thought that perhaps I didn't push the plug all the way in. When I got home I plugged in the L2 charge port and nothing. I didn't have time to fuss with it last night after work, so I just pulled out my Level 1 Chevy EVSE from the trunk and the car began to charge. My initial thought was crap, my L2 charger is dead.

Well, this morning I woke up and the red lights were flashing on my L1 charger and again, the Volt did not charge. Since I was leaving for work, I won't be able to look at it until I get home tonight. There were no warning messages or errors on the dash. Anyone ever heard of something like this happening? I highly doubt that both chargers would crap out at the same time. The L2 charger worked fine all week... and I last used my L1 charger on Saturday without issue.

When I get home, I'll reset both the L1 and L2 chargers, as well as reset my volt by disconnecting the 12v battery. I've had some minor issues about 2 years ago that the dealer resolved by disconnecting the 12v battery and allowing the system to reset. Any other ideas what could be causing this? At least I'm still under warranty (for 8,000 more miles) if there is an issue with the on-board charger.

The color of the lights and which lights are blinking tells the story of what the issue is.
