You likely got older software. Go to VxDiagShop dot com and download the latest from their download page. Note that this is not the manufacturers site but just a vendor who sells the product so don’t expect support from them, but they have the best software source.

And as stated, diagnostics is run with the GDS2 program packaged with that software.

Gds2 problem...did you first install Tech2Win as you should?

You mean VXManager. Tech2Win serves no propose on a Volt. It’s for much older cars.
