I am not going to post photos as we all know what a Iridescent Pearl Volt looks like with the Black Leather interior. Having said that, it is sharp. I was lucky enough to find a left over 2016 Premium with every possible option. It did have 11.4K miles, but still has the MSO and new car smell. (Hey, everybody drives a USED car). The owner of the dealership was using it for his wife to drive. I didn't really work out a Price of the car and Value of my trade in the traditional sense. I negotiated on a simple premise...that I would trade if my price was met. And it was. On paper, the final price was $15,750 after my trade, plus only Taxes (Kentucky Tax is 6%) and a $100 doc fee.
This car qualifies for the $7,500 federal tax credit, so subtract that, for a final price of $8,350 after my trade (as I can take full advantage of the tax credit). My trade was a 2012 Red Volt Premium with every possible option and 47.9k miles at trade in. (my car was absolutely awesome and I took excellent care of it) Everything was worked out over email so I have excellent proof of all details. After working out all the details over email, I made a courtesy phone call just to introduce myself. It was simply the best overall experience I have ever dealt with. My family and I drove to Ohio, roughly 4 hours, traded mine in, and was out of the dealership in about an hour and was treated extremely well, with no crazy pressure to purchase anything goofy. I dealt ONLY with the Owner, so there was no salesman or middle man, except for the paper work. It was a fantastic experience. We talked, shared some stories, and I went over my trade in with him and he tossed me the keys for my new ride. Buttery smooth...
We drove back home, mostly back roads, all 183 miles of it. We used 2.67 gallons of gas. Outstanding & Amazing...
