I have been looking at post to see what I can learn. I have been using a portable in the car with an external antenna for a while. Its past time to put a radio in the car. I'm wondering where I can and can't drill inside the car. I have been considering the hump on the passenger from side but with the covering under the car I can't see what could possibly be in the way. Any help ? Any pictures to share?

There are those compartments in the back of the trunk on the side walls. The drivers side one has power and would be a good place for the base. I've also wanted to use the XM antenna for a ham radio antenna to avoid drilling holes, and because there is zero chance of using Sirius. I was hoping someone already found the adapters and I could copy it, but no such luck yet.
