This poll and discussion is intended as a next step or update to polls over the last month. Some drivers have reported that past issues have cleared up recently (or that they never had any issues), whereas other drivers have reported that their issues persist.

I will set the poll to last only 2 weeks so it will serve as a snapshot in time. It gets a bit complicated to distinguish between GM official websites (myvolt.com, onstar.com, my.chevrolet.com) and Voltstats.net. The focus here will be on the GM official websites.

The MyChevrolet app on my iPhone 6 is pulling and displaying all available data. As is VoltStats. But I did have to re-authorize my account on VoltStats yesterday.

Rarely use the GM/Chevy site but just logged in and all is as it should be. OTOH I cannot get Voltstats/Onstar to reauthorize. This is the second time in a week it has been required but this time it fails.

If it fails keep trying. It took 5 attempts for me before it authorized.

It took several attempts over a few hours to re-authorize my account. Keep trying.

I voted no (Gen 1), but most of them are working.
Website - Yes (via computer or phone browser)
Voltstats - Yes (and it never went down for me),
Android App - No
I wish that mine were working this much. Got my Gen1 Volt October 21, and I don't remember my EV miles coming through anywhere. Still, it's a pain that it doesn't work on your phone. Maybe that functionality will return and the poll results will be different in a few weeks.

So far on this one, it looks like the Gen1 numbers are worse than the Gen2 numbers. This I think may be a bit different from a poll 2-3 weeks ago.

2017 Bolt LT, for the last 2 days myChevy app has failed to pull info but FOB commands work no problem. First 2 days, I kept on getting prompted for my PIN code over and over and over when requesting info. Finally, I cleared all app data for the myChevyApp (essentially re-installing it), went through the sign-in process again, and now when I fetch vehicle info, I get a "Invalid user input. Please try again. (105)" error.

When I tried installing the OnStar RemoteLink app, it just says OnStar is unavailable. Again, FOB commands work, just vehicle info doesn't work.

When checking via my.chevrolet.com website, I can get all vehicle info no problems.

some general points -

- When I first started discussing this issue a few weeks ago in another thread, some posters thought that it was safe to assume that only Gen2 folks were having issues since their read of Voltstats made it seem like this. At that time I suppose it may have been possible that more Gen2 (as a %) were having issues, but, from one of my earlier polls, there was indication (very small data set though) that Gen1 even at that time also were experiencing issues. At some point then Gen2 started clearing up. From comments and votes that trickle in on this poll and thread, we can see clearly the issues are not so clear-cut. Both Volts have some drivers who are not readily able to get at their EV miles and related data, though so far in this small data set it appears Gen1 presently may be worse overall. This seems logical if Gen2 was recently partially cleared up.

- OnStar has been calling me here and there trying to clear things up and I appreciate their professionalism and desire to set things right, but they are going to have to pace themselves, as I just don't have time sometimes. Perhaps more importantly, when we consider the high percentage of people overall who still have issues (10 out of 19 as of this writing on this 2-week poll) to save the time of any one individual driver such as myself, my thought is it might be best if they cleared up any big lingering underlying issues affecting many drivers (such as they did do on some Gen2s) and then maybe work on those vehicles remaining where isssues persist.

- [addendum/edit] - going back to the apparent clearing up of some (but not all) Gen2 issues, this seems to come through a little bit, so far, with this poll, as compared to one I posted a couple of weeks ago or so [and acknowledging the small data sets and non-scientific polls, so the conclusions are not confident]. So, I think it's worth pausing to say this is a good thing and thanks to GM for taking that step.

I can access the information on my.chevrolet.com but the number of electric miles and gas miles are wrong but the total is correct. Ironically the lifetime mpg is correct. Specifically, my electric miles are 23,204, gas miles are 24,671 with lifetime mpg of 166 mpg. That would make my actual gas mileage about 80 mpg!
