I own 2012 Ampera and got about +/-70km (~45 miles) out of battery on some goodyear winter tires. Yesterday I had tires replaced with new Continental EcoContact 6... These blew all my expectations away and by massive margin too..

First try yesterday I got 105kms (65 miles) out of battery. WOW! I'd never believe tires could make this kind of difference.

Winter tires vs. all season eco tires. Yes, I would expect a significant mileage difference. I see the same when I switch from winter tires to the all season's.

I never expected this kind of impact. Maybe 5-10 kms but 35.. Wow, just wow! :)

I gained more electric range than bmw 225xe will do with full charge by just swapping tires.. Impressive.

I do think range is better. My usable battery is only 8.6 - 9.2kwh. The temps have been all over the place too, so harder to track. Just glad it's nice and quiet going down the road now!
