Hi All,

Happy to join the forum. Looking forward to interacting with other volt users especially as there is no volt service outlet where I am located.

I am particularly looking forward to reviving my 2011 volt which is currently unable to charge the 12v battery. I have replaced the APM but the 12v battery still doesn't get charged. I am unsure if some configuration or programming of sorts is required to clear the "Service Battery charging system alarm" and get the car back on the road.

I'm just joining and will also search the existing forums, but will appreciate any helpful information.

Gotta start with the obvious; Did you put in a new 12V battery?

Yeah. I have put in a new battery. I have also tested the "old" battery in my Honda civic and it gave no problems there
